Richard was born on 31 March 1934. All the other sources gave 1935 until Richard announced how old he was on a tv chat show in 2003.

Have the films "The Pavilion" and "River Made To Drown In" been released?

"The Pavilion" co-starring Patsy Kensit was released in the U.S.A. in April 2001. It was produced by Graden Floe Production and Quantum Entertainment. It is a psychological thriller set during the American civil war. Filming took place on an island just off Cape Fear in the Atlantic Ocean.
"The Pavilion" is currently only available on Region 2 DVD in the U.K. & Europe.
The film "River Made To Drown In" has been exhibited in film festivals and shown on TV in Europe, but it has only had a limited distribution.
"River Made To Drown In" was finally released in the U.S.A. & Canada on July 01, 2003 on both DVD and Video.

Could you give me more details about Richard's book?

Richard's book "Shattered Love" is available from Amazon.com (Amazon U.S.A.), Amazon.co.uk (Amazon U.K.)and Amazon.ca (Amazon Canada).
Richard describes the book as "a philosophical memoir, about life, love, and living one's life with complete honesty." Richard says he questioned his own self-worth, was haunted by insecurity, "began the painful process of reconciling his deepest self with his public persona" via spiritual guru J. Krishnamurti. He tells of a lifelong struggle to find happiness, come to terms with his imperfections, and develop a relationship with his father. The book was released in June 2003.

Where can I obtain copies of Richard Chamberlain's films/tv shows that haven't been released on video or DVD?

There are tape trading communities on the internet that are willing to trade copies of films/shows that are not available commercially. You can post requests on the Message Board. I have obtained some of Richard's productions myself via tape trading and I have list of contacts that have access to material such as: "Island Son", "Wallenberg", "Dream West", Richard's early film and television work, interviews and music.
